The Houses of Parliament seen across the Thames in the 1890s, with the Victoria Tower, the clock tower and barges moored on the river in front, as a hand-coloured photochrom.
A heritage print: a hand-coloured photochrom print, from the Library of Congress collection, made around 1890–1900, printed as it is — not redrawn — with the place and date in the name band. It shows the place as it was then, and some things will have changed since.
Sizes and finishes
- Poster on 200gsm premium matte paper: A3 (42 × 29.7 cm), A2 (59.4 × 42 cm). Frame not included.
- Canvas, stretched: 45 × 30 cm, 60 × 40 cm. The nearest canvas sizes to A3 and A2, so the picture is cropped slightly to fit.
- Framed: the A3 or A2 print in a 12 mm wooden frame in black, white or natural wood, with a clear acrylic front. The frame is included and adds 1.2 cm a side (an A3 is 44.4 × 32.1 cm framed).
