Segovia is a municipality in Castilla y León, Spain, and the capital of Segovia Province, at an elevation of 1,002 metres. The Aqueduct of Segovia, a Roman aqueduct, is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Royal Alcázar, a castle and museum in the Old City, is a World Heritage Site. Segovia Cathedral, the Casa de los Picos, a mansion, and the Coining House, a former mint that is now a museum, are among its listed monuments. The Puerta de Santiago is a medieval gate in the city walls.
