Helgoland, or Heligoland, is an archipelago and municipality in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, in the Heligoland Bight and part of Kreis Pinneberg. It is a car-free place and a coastal spa. The Helgoland lighthouse and St. Nicolai church are heritage monuments, the Hummerbuden is a listed architectural ensemble, and the Lange Anna is a rock formation protected as a natural monument. The Lummenfelsen der Insel Helgoland and the Helgoländer Felssockel are nature reserves.
