Falmouth is a town and port on the River Fal in Cornwall, England, beside Carrick Roads. In the centre are the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and the Grade II* listed Church of King Charles the Martyr. Falmouth Art Gallery, Gyllyngvase Beach and Falmouth Docks are close to the centre, and Pendennis Castle, a Grade I listed fort on the west side of the Fal estuary, stands a little further out.
