Victoria Street, Edinburgh curves away below in this raised view from the railed terrace above, its cobbles busy with walkers and a single dark car. Tall stone tenements rise on the left over brightly painted shopfronts in red, blue and green, with lines of triangular bunting strung across the street. The palette is warm sandstone and slate grey lifted by strong colour, loosely washed in watercolour with soft bleeds and fine pen detail.
