Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol, spans a wooded gorge, viewed from above so the deck and its sweeping chains carry the eye to the far tower. Red-brown stone piers rise from rocky cliffs, with dense trees, scrub and pale grasses below and small figures at the viewing platform. Flat, printed layers in ochre, gold and deep green sit under a blue sky with cream clouds.
